Gain Better Insights and More Control Over Your Org
The most important release we've ever shipped will change the way you manage Salesforce

The most important release we've ever shipped will change the way you manage Salesforce

Master the management of your Salesforce org in ways never before possible.
Now you can see what's happening even in the darkest corners of your org. Get a clear, plain-language explanations of the issues your team is experiencing. With new levels of monitoring and predictive analysis, you can get in front of the next problem before it interrupts your operations. And— for the first time — you can stream your Salesforce telemetry into the same observability platform you run for everything else in your IT stack (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, New Relic and more).
Pharos 2 provides a whole solution. Take advantage of our newly updated, free, open-source logging framework provided with full support. Get the unique benefits of the only comprehensive monitoring and observability platform built natively for Salesforce. And harness new AI capabilities that give you the power to do deep analysis of metadata and runtime data - so you can get a complete picture into how your org is functioning.
Here's what's new, what's better, and what's now possible. (Feature availability varies by plan.)
Pharos X-Ray — instrument any Flow in one click
This will be a huge timesaver for anyone wanting to instrument a Salesforce Flow, especially a complex one.
When a Flow throws an error, Pharos has always helped you see it. But when a Flow runs "successfully" and still does something you didn't expect — no error, just the wrong outcome — that used to be painful to diagnose.
Now Pharos X-Ray instruments any Flow with a single click — no code, no manual setup. It automatically adds detailed logging between every element and across every branch, so you simply run the Flow and get a complete, step-by-step picture of what it actually did: timing, variable values, and execution context at each step. You can finally pinpoint where a Flow's behavior diverges from what you intended, not just where it crashed.
The captured execution renders in a richly reworked Flow Debug View — an interactive timeline and canvas that walks the full execution path, element by element and branch by branch.
AI Issue Analysis & Pharos Org Genie
Get smarter, faster AI analysis that is always current. Pharos's AI Issue Analysis has been rebuilt on a scalable Salesforce and AWS Lambda backend. Pharos Org Genie delivers real-time root-cause analysis and concrete remediation guidance at the issue level, plus pattern and health insights across the whole org. Analysis can be triggered programmatically, runs faster, and uses continuously refreshed models so quality stays on the leading edge.
Conversational AI Chat — just ask
A brand-new suite of chat experiences lets anyone interrogate their org in plain language:
AI Agents & MCP — operate Pharos in natural language
Pharos 2.0 introduces a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes your Pharos org to any MCP-capable AI agent — Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and more. A catalog of agent-agnostic "operate" skills turns plain-language questions like "is anything broken?" or "why is checkout failing?" into full diagnostic and action workflows — all gated by your Pharos permission tiers, with write actions requiring human approval.
Proactive Monitoring with statistical forecasting
Move from reacting to predicting. A new proactive monitoring subsystem watches events and governor limits with tolerance and time-window logic, capturing and deduplicating what matters. Its standout capability: Holt-Winters statistical forecasting that launches a trace ahead of a predicted governor-limit breach — so you capture the evidence before the failure, not after.
Sensitive-Data Governance & the AI Trust Layer
Two new privacy capabilities, built for the enterprise:
Org Insights — System Overview & OrgSight dashboards
New at-a-glance org-health dashboards, built on rich interactive charts. System Overview spans Apex, Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder, while OrgSight adds dynamic charting — with layout, refresh, and snapshot handling built in.
Flexible Flow instrumentation
Beyond one-click Pharos X-Ray, Pharos gives you full control over Flow logging: a dedicated Flow Logging admin interface, configurable log levels and operations, subflow stack-trace parsing, and multilingual Flow parsing — so you can dial in exactly the visibility you want.
Notifications & alerting
Webhooks — a new notification channel so any notification or monitoring rule can POST to any external endpoint.
Digest notifications — batched, rolled-up alerts with a matching event record page.
Charts in notifications — server-rendered chart images are now embedded directly in notifications, including Slack direct messages and limit-monitoring event charts.
Azure DevOps notifications on monitoring and limit rules.
Integrations
Jira — support and validation for custom field types, personal access token authentication and custom headers, migration to the Jira REST API v3, Jira Markdown rendering for AI analysis, and improved epic, assignee, and component search.
Azure DevOps — ticketing with Microsoft Entra ID OAuth apps and DevOps Center support.
Microsoft Teams — refined OAuth scopes, secret and token handling, and more reliable notification delivery.
Slack — smarter rate-limiting, private-channel and case-insensitive channel search.
GitHub — improved repository-URL parsing and settings experience.
Rules engine
Full ticketing-rule lifecycle — clone, save-as-new, and update, with action templates, subject/description mapping, and more Jira fields available on Create Ticket.
Notification-rule builder improvements — field insertion into messages, reuse of existing notifications, and email templates.
Monitoring-rule builder — refreshed UI, a rule-type header indicator, multiselect picklists, and new comparison operators.
Import/Export of rule configurations — standardize rules (including limits, Event Monitoring, and digest rules) across orgs.
Connected Orgs & Passthrough Mode
A new Passthrough data direction lets a connected org forward logs without storing them locally, with matching deduplication and Pharos Triton passthrough logging — plus broader improvements to the connected-org connection flow.
Tracing
A new Automation Trace Schedule enables scheduled, unattended tracing, alongside match-on-any-string tracing, a faster trace calendar tuned for large data volumes, and forecast settings relocated to the tracing page.
Log retention & Issue Tracker
Refined log-retention rule management and batch handling, plus an adaptive Issue Tracker with a dedicated setup page and improved permission handling.
Experience, onboarding & editions
Streamlined record pages — free-version issue/log Lightning pages, event record-page defaults, an event-details page, and copy-to-clipboard on context fields.
Clearer paid-feature marking with landing-page links and free-edition gating.
Smoother Quick Start onboarding.
Email-to-Case error tracking rework.
A new Pharos Triton Configuration Console admin page.
Pharos 2.0's visible features stand on a deep reengineering of the platform
We've strengthened the foundation that keeps Pharos fast and dependable in the largest, busiest Salesforce orgs.
Built to scale. The log post-processing and deduplication pipeline was reworked to sail past Salesforce cache-item and async-job limits, with batching, parallel processing, content-document handling for large stack traces, and smarter caching.
Faster under load. Broad SOQL and governor-limit optimizations eliminate "too many rows" failures, and large-log capture now streams and chunks cleanly to protect heap.
Hardened security. New least-privilege permission sets (Log Read / Log Read-Write), with sharing enforcement, a dedicated running user, tightened data access, and a full vulnerability-remediation pass across cross-site scripting, SOQL/SOSL injection, field- and object-level security, and URL redirection.
A modern front end. An Angular 16 upgrade and broad UI refactor — with heavy views moved to Lightning Web Components — for a faster, more maintainable app.
Always current with Salesforce. Rolling Metadata and Apex API-version upgrades keep the platform compliant and forward-compatible.
Reliable by design. Service refactors and a shift from batch to trigger-based execution make notifications and processing more predictable, with cleaner issue and batch-job deduplication.
Enterprise connectivity. Connected Apps migrated to Salesforce External Client Apps, with a reworked connection flow.
Faster, safer releases. A modernized CI/CD pipeline and scratch-org management system dramatically cut deployment times and raise release confidence.
Introducing Pharos Hermes
For years, Salesforce has been the one tier-one enterprise system that couldn't natively join a modern observability stack. Pharos 2.0 changes that with Pharos Hermes — a new, separately shipped component that converts Salesforce telemetry into standard OpenTelemetry spans, metrics, and logs and exports them over OTLP to the backend you already run.
Runs entirely in your own cloud. A single Docker image, deployed to AWS or Azure via Terraform — it never phones home, and Pharos never receives or stores your telemetry.
Two ingestion channels. Iris bridges your application telemetry from Pharos and Pharos Triton (Apex, Flow, Integration, LWC); Argus taps Salesforce Event Monitoring — including real-time security and ML threat-detection events — with zero code changes.
One event, three correlated signals. A single Salesforce event can become a span, a metric, and a log, stitched into one trace across surfaces so a transaction reads as a single story.
Your backend, your choice. Validated with Honeycomb and Splunk, and routable to Datadog, Grafana, and more via the OpenTelemetry Collector.
Secure and private by default. JWT-based authentication, a read-only integration permission set, TLS transport, and configurable PII redaction on every exported signal.
Pharos Hermes is available to Enterprise customers and delivered with hands-on Pharos support.
More robust, more reliable performance
Alongside the new capabilities, Pharos 2.0 includes hundreds of fixes and refinements that make the platform smoother and more resilient, across:
